What is the Watermelon 5k Fest?

It’s more than a walk/run. It’s a chance to create a ripple effect of hope and change for Palestine. The Watermelon 5K Fest is a day to stand together for a brighter future.

‍Run, Walk, or Cheer: However you join in, every step helps make a difference.

‍Global Connections: This year, two of our  students will be with us in person and eight more will join virtually. Their presence is a powerful reminder of the lives we’re impacting together.

‍Celebrate Culture: Enjoy incredible food, music and moments that connect us to the rich heritage of Palestine.

‍Create Impact: Last year, we raised $78,500 for HEAL Palestine. This year we’re aiming for $100,000 to support displaced students. Every step and every dollar all adds up to something bigger than any of us.

We believe that joy is a form of resistance.

Where do the donations and entry fees go?

We aim to collect $100,000 through entry fees and donations.

‍All funds raised will be used to send displaced Palestinian students to college anywhere in the world! 

We've created the GatherGood Endowment Fund, managed by CrescentWealth Advisory, to sustainability provide scholarships to Palestinian college students.

100% of donations go directly towards tuition and student costsGather Good is a 501(c)(3) is a tax exempt organization.

The Endowment Fund is dedicated to supporting displaced Palestinian students through need-based scholarships and personalized mentorship, empowering them to succeed in both their educational and personal journeys.
